At the time, it was developed and implemented with foresight and vision by the municipal utilities, the shareholders, the energy partner Käserei Goldsteig and Team Gammel Engineering, even in the face of resistance. Today, natural energy has long been a key pillar of the decarbonization strategy in the city of Cham, with corresponding support from the population and politicians. The biomass cogeneration plant is a sustainable guide to independence from fossil fuels in the heating and electricity sector.

The Catholic Youth Welfare Service (KJF) is building a shared living community in Rohr i. NB with four residential units for a total of 24 adults with disabilities. And not on the outskirts, but right in the heart of town. This is exactly what inclusion in action looks like.
