The Gammel Engineering team provided all engineering services for the installation of a highly efficient combined heat, power and cooling system for the St. Marien Hospital in Amberg back in 2010. The first construction phase included a gas engine combined heat and power plant with an electrical output of 357 kW and a thermal output of 529 kW as well as an absorption chiller with a cooling capacity of 320 kW. The operator is completely satisfied with the plant and, of course, with the energy savings and the ecological impact.
Thus, the decision for the 2nd construction phase was logical and consistent. Thanks to the quality and commitment of our team, Amberg Hospital has once again decided to work with Gammel Engineering. We are proud to have been awarded the follow-up contract - the trust in our company is our motivation!
We have published the lifting of the new CHP module as a short film on YouTube. Have fun with it!

Gammel Engineering worked with the customer to plan and technically implement an emergency steam boiler system in order to secure the process-side steam supply of chemical and special materials producer Nabaltec AG in the long term.
We are pleased to announce another important qualification step in our company: Our employee Tobias Backhaus has successfully completed the BAFA energy consulting course for energy efficiency consultants for non-residential buildings.
