The successful energy partnership between Naturenergie Cham and the Goldsteig cheese dairy is proving its sustainability, especially during the "gas crisis". While many companies in the dairy industry fear production losses, Goldsteig has been able to rely on safe and clean energy from natural wood for 10 years. And the added value remains with the forest farmers in the region!

The midsummer heat is causing problems for many people in companies. Not so for the Gammel Engineering team at the headquarters in Abensberg. We implemented our energy concept more than 25 years ago. The first office building we know of with component cooling (industrial underfloor heating pipes in the exposed concrete ceiling for cooling and temperature control) reliably ensures pleasant temperatures in the offices and meeting rooms. And cooling is provided by groundwater from our well, which is used all year round to flush toilets and irrigate our park after absorbing heat. A widely copied regenerative cooling concept without emissions from chillers. The Gammel Engineering team was and is "always one step ahead" when it comes to intelligent energy solutions. Our engineering team with project manager Thomas Winkler planned the new energy center with CHP and thermal oil sterilization for the Vivantes Clinic in Berlin-Neukölln across all service phases and supervised it during the construction phase.

Birthdays remind us that time does not stand still. They give us an opportunity to look back, look forward to what we have achieved and set new goals for the future. And we do this together - as the Gammel team!

The Bundestag and Bundesrat have passed the Substitute Power Plant Provision Act (EKBG). This authorizes the government to limit or even ban the operation of natural gas-based power generation plants in the event of a gas shortage.
