Today we celebrated the 10th anniversary of Oliver Möstl, who has been an integral part of the CAD and planning team at our company since 2004.
At Maintal Konfitüren in Hassfurt, the micro gas turbine, which will generate almost 100 kW of electrical power, is being commissioned this week. The first electricity is being fed into the grid today in trial operation. After TÜV approval, the plant is expected to be in automatic operation by the end of the week.
The heat from the smelting plant at BMW AG in Landshut is used for cooling in summer and heating in winter. 10.000 tons of CO2 are saved by BMW every year and energy costs are reduced by more than one million euros annually.

Decentralized energy supply: On behalf of Stadtwerke Cham, Gammel Engineering developed a vision for the future of energy in the city of Cham. The Goldsteig cheese dairy plays a key role in this model as the largest heat consumer. Together with the city of Cham, an operator model was developed that brings many advantages for the city, the cheese dairy and ultimately for the entire region.
Instead of relying on electricity from the socket and heat from oil heating more and more companies are tackling the energy transition themselves. In doing so, they are securing their supply, making themselves independent of price fluctuations, reduce operating costs and protect the environment.
On Saturday, August 30, 2014, the new AUDI AG driving experience center in Neuburg was opened after two years of construction. Among the guests were the Bavarian Minister President Horst Seehofer and the Mayor of Neuburg Bernhard Gmehling.
