With deep sorrow and great respect, we bid farewell to an extraordinary and kind-hearted person who, with his loyal and confident demeanor, was always a role model for the entire company.
The first stop was the "Monte Kaolino" in Amberg. An approx. 120 m high mountain consisting of around 35 million tons of quartz sand. Our winter sports enthusiasts bravely took to the sand skis and mastered the sandy descent without any major falls. The children also had a lot of fun on the bobsleigh run! Thanks to the summer temperatures, we were then able to cool off in the outdoor pool next door.
In the afternoon, we went on a guided tour of the Felsenkeller labyrinth in Schwandorf with actors from Stadtmaus. We rounded off the wonderful day with a barbecue in front of the log cabin of the Landhotel "Birkenhof". A wonderful sunset rounded off a very successful excursion.
Many thanks to everyone who took part again. It was a great day with you!

Today we celebrated a special anniversary: Florian Prantl has been with Gammel Engineering for 20 years. Over these two decades, technologies have changed, projects have evolved, and teams have been reorganized. One thing has remained constant: Florian Prantl is a reliable member of the Gammel Engineering team.
In 2026, Gammel Engineering was once again ready to head to the Gillamoos! Together with our partners, we kicked off the “fifth season” in Abensberg on Friday, as is our tradition.
