The Abensberg-based company is setting new standards in several respects with an innovative combined heat and power concept for the reference plant in Hersbruck.
The heat from the smelting plant at BMW AG in Landshut is used for cooling in summer and heating in winter. 10.000 tons of CO2 are saved by BMW every year and energy costs are reduced by more than one million euros annually.
