The Bundestag and Bundesrat have passed the Substitute Power Plant Provision Act (EKBG). This authorizes the government to limit or even ban the operation of natural gas-based power generation plants in the event of a gas shortage.

As part of the event "Kreis Energieeffizienz Oberfranken 2/2022 - Strategien für die Dekarbonisierung" on 12.07.2022 at the bayme vbm office Upper Franconia in Coburg, we had the opportunity to report on the topic of decarbonization.

Natural gas - How do political decisions influence our current energy supply? The topic of natural gas as an energy source is more topical than ever. We cannot phase out the fossil fuel with the smallest CO2 footprint overnight.

Even if it is not yet entirely clear what the new German government will actually decide: What is certain from Gammel-Engineering's point of view is that the price of CO2 emissions in particular will continue to rise and that energy supply and security will become much more important.

The secondary school in Neustadt an der Waldnaab is currently being completely renovated according to plans by Brückner & Brückner Architekten. Our team is responsible for modern building technology in this flagship project. Belt dryer system for 100 tons of wood chips per hour A Basilian power plant operator uses wood chips to generate energy. However, these are initially to be dried using a belt dryer system with an integrated hot water conversion station. The system concept had to be adapted for this. The result was a design that allows maintenance during operation.
