The lighthouse project Naturenergie Cham went into operation 10 years ago. We are very proud to have been involved since the very first idea, from project development to planning, construction and 10 years of successful operation with our project and branch manager Thomas Zweier.

The secondary school in Neustadt an der Waldnaab is currently being completely renovated according to plans by Brückner & Brückner Architekten. The key to the future of combined heat and power generation is iKWK "The German Coal Phase-out Act opens up completely new opportunities for combined heat and power (CHP). However, the new flexibility also increases the complexity of CHP-based energy concepts. Sound project development and planning are essential to ensure that the respective business case remains economically viable.

How can the heat supply for a company and a city center be combined in a smart way? In Cham, we have achieved this: our steam cogeneration plant uses wood chips from the region to generate superheated steam for the Goldsteig cheese dairy - the remaining steam is liquefied in a heating condenser and the heated water is fed into the district heating network of Stadtwerke Cham.
