A special moment was the first official donation handover last Tuesday: €1,712 went to the Sankt Franziskus vocational training center in Abensberg. We were warmly welcomed by the head of the facility, Frank Baumgartner, training manager David Arnold and public relations assistant Verena Obermeier.
The budget goes towards the support fund for driving license newcomers - targeted help for trainees who are often unable to afford the expensive purchase of a driving license. In rural areas in particular, mobility is a basic requirement for a successful career start, as many jobs are difficult to reach without your own vehicle. The vocational training center offers young people real prospects with this fund.

The Catholic Youth Welfare Service (KJF) is building a shared living community in Rohr i. NB with four residential units for a total of 24 adults with disabilities. And not on the outskirts, but right in the heart of town. This is exactly what inclusion in action looks like.
