What a great success: the Max Bögl construction company is now generating its own electricity. The turbine is running and turning stably at the nominal speed of 25,500 rpm (revolutions per minute). The first tests have been carried out successfully and the safety shutdowns are also working perfectly.
"After two and a half weeks of dedicated continuous operation, the commissioning team is now taking a well-earned break until Monday," says Gammel Engineering Project Manager Thomas Winkler. "We will restart the system on Monday and will probably feed the first power into the public grid on Tuesday." In addition to the grid synchronization of the turbine, further turbine tests and training of the operating personnel are planned for the coming week. With the Kombi Power System from Gammel Engineering, Max Bögl, Germany's largest privately owned construction company, is focusing largely on environmentally friendly, decentralized energy supply from renewable resources.
Nutritional advice at GE: Impulses for more health in everyday life
A healthy diet is a crucial building block for well-being, performance and long-term health. For this reason, nutritional advice was offered at GE as part of occupational health management (OHM), initiated by Evi Wittmann, who is responsible for OHM at the company.
20 years at Gammel Engineering - congratulations Tom!
We were able to celebrate a special anniversary today: February 15 marked the 20th anniversary of Anita Ebenslander joining Gammel Engineering. Two decades that stand for commitment, precision and exceptional reliability.
Handover of donations from our Christmas fundraising campaign
Having already reported on the results of our Christmas donation campaign, we are now delighted that all three donations have now been handed over in person.
It was particularly important to us not only to hand over the donations symbolically, but also to visit the facilities on site and gain an insight into their valuable work.
