Michael Gammel, Managing Director of Gammel Engineering GmbH and Chairman of the Kelheim Chamber of Industry and Commerce committee, drew particular attention to the very positive developments in the construction industry, which has grown by almost 25% - the growth rate across Bavaria is 1.9%.
This boom is partly due to the good economic structure mix: The district enjoys high growth rates in the automotive sector, mechanical engineering, the electrical engineering sector and the chemical industry.
