After the guests were welcomed by the head of the BBW school, Ms. Bettina Fuchs, the blessing ceremony was performed by Canon Dr. Roland Batz.
First, Mr. Michael Eibl, Director of the Catholic Youth Welfare Regensburg, gave his welcoming address, followed by Mr. Walter Krug, General Manager of the St. Franziskus Vocational Training Centre in Abensberg, who reported on thematic impulses for the construction project
This was followed by a very interesting and informative panel discussion with Jimmy Hartwig, DFB Ambassador for Fair Play, and Clemens Prokop, sports official and German lawyer. This discussion was moderated by the deputy principal Mr. Carsten Jelitto.
We are particularly pleased that we were able to plan the irrigation system for the grass pitch for this project and wish many successful tournaments on the new grounds!

Today we celebrated a special anniversary: Florian Prantl has been with Gammel Engineering for 20 years. Over these two decades, technologies have changed, projects have evolved, and teams have been reorganized. One thing has remained constant: Florian Prantl is a reliable member of the Gammel Engineering team.
In 2026, Gammel Engineering was once again ready to head to the Gillamoos! Together with our partners, we kicked off the “fifth season” in Abensberg on Friday, as is our tradition.
