MilchNEWS reports on sustainable cheese production at Goldsteig
The development of the project back then was an immense effort. Some of the local people had concerns and objections - our team took all the issues into account, worked out solutions together and reached agreements with the residents. The communication and the struggle for the best possible implementation down to the last detail was right and important.
Today in particular, it is clear how important a far-sighted energy concept is for cities and municipalities, businesses and, of course, residents. Natural energy has become an important pillar of the energy strategy of the city of Cham as well as the Goldsteig cheese dairy and the many customers on the heating network. This is clearer than ever in the current climate. We are delighted that the successful model and the energy partnership have proved so successful!
Michael and Gudrun Gammel's brother-in-law, Martin Kundler from Neustadt an der Donau, has been a passionate hobby gardener for many years. His large garden with numerous trees and lots of vegetables is a real treasure trove of nature.
After a long period of planning, lots of ideas and countless hours, the time has finally come: our new homepage is live! We are looking forward to your feedback!
FUTURE-proof concepts against the energy shock in milk and cheese production
Rising energy and raw material prices can be counteracted by using sustainable energy technologies and thus reducing CO2 emissions. This not only significantly reduces cost explosions, but also reduces your own ecological footprint. Pioneers in the dairy industry are also focusing on this.
