Guided by informative presentations, this time the agenda includes current Bavarian funding programs, the integration of solar thermal energy into heating networks, ash disposal/recycling and an innovative wood gasifier concept.
Afterwards, the neighboring Kombi Power System wood gasification power plant and the brewery of Arcobräu Gräfliches Brauhaus GmbH & Co. KG will be visited. The Kombi Power System from Gammel Engineering GmbH is intended to supply steam and heat for the brewing process in addition to electricity once it has been put into regular operation. The innovative combination of fixed-bed countercurrent wood gasifier with pyrolysis gas burner and indirectly fired gas turbine promises a high degree of flexibility and controllability as well as low emissions and uncritical ash qualities.
