Our core customer Audi AG is developing this research and technology center for the future of mobility together with the city of Ingolstadt on 75 hectares.
The highly innovative character of the project is already evident in the design and planning of the individual buildings. The LowEx system developed by Audi in combination with a highly innovative control strategy ensures the goal of the zero energy campus.
Gammel Engineering has been commissioned with the planning of the entire H/L/S and M/S/R for the functional building. Buildings and TGA systems were simulated and optimized with TRNSYS. We are delighted to be involved in this pioneering project for the future and would like to thank Audi AG for their trust and sustainable collaboration on this project too.
Laying of the foundation stone with the participation of Dr. Markus Söder (Bavarian Minister President), Dr. Christian Lösel (Lord Mayor of the City of Ingolstadt), Peter Kössler (Board Member for Production and Logistics at AUDI AG), Thomas Vogel (Managing Director of IN-Campus GmbH for AUDI AG) and Norbert Forster (Managing Director of IN-Campus GmbH for IFG Ingolstadt) laid the foundation stone for this major project.

Gammel Engineering worked with the customer to plan and technically implement an emergency steam boiler system in order to secure the process-side steam supply of chemical and special materials producer Nabaltec AG in the long term.
We are pleased to announce another important qualification step in our company: Our employee Tobias Backhaus has successfully completed the BAFA energy consulting course for energy efficiency consultants for non-residential buildings.
