There's steam in the kettle at Arcobräu
What is not required according to the production load curve will in future be converted into electricity via the downstream micro steam turbines. This is the first time a gas and steam plant has been built on the basis of forest wood! The condenser heat downstream of the steam turbines will be used for the hot and heating water network. With the Kombi Power System from Gammel Engineering, Arcobräu Gräfliches Brauhaus GmbH & Co. KG in Moos has opted for an environmentally friendly, decentralized energy supply: Arcobräu uses home-made fuel and thus reduces its dependency on fossil fuels, generates electricity from renewable energies and does so under its own control. In addition, Arcobräu supplies the village with local heating and assumes responsibility for the region.
