The German mechanical and plant engineering industry sees great opportunities for the development and sale of new technologies in the energy transition. To ensure the success of the energy transition, companies are calling for a long-term political framework. This is shown by the VDMA's first energy transition barometer.
"With this plant, we have achieved a quantum leap in the utilization of biomass," said Michael Gammel. The head of the development company was referring to the generation of electricity from wood chips at the north-east entrance to Hersbruck within the walls of Naturenergie. At a celebration, Mayor Robert Ilg congratulated the company on the successful "wood path".
The waste heat steam boiler at Arcobräu has been generating ''wood steam'' since this week. In the first stage of power generation, the steam is produced using hot air from the hot gas turbine. This is then primarily used as process steam for brewery operations.
The Mayor of Hersbruck Robert Ilg, the Vice President of the Bavarian Farmers' Association Günther Felßner and the Chairman of the Board of the Nuremberg Forestry Association Richard Sperber celebrated a summer party on Sunday, June 30, 2013, together with 100 invited guests. It's done: On Wednesday (26.06.2013), the construction company Max Bögl generated its first own electricity with the hot gas turbine. This electricity is generated from wood chips using the Kombi Power System: Pyrolysis gas is produced by heating the wood chips. The pyrolysis gas burns absolutely cleanly. The energy generated by the combustion is used to drive the turbine. In this way, absolutely clean electricity is generated from natural biomass in accordance with the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG).
Things are running like clockwork at Max Bögl: now that the biomass boiler has been commissioned and the drying of the brick lining has been completed, the first ignition has been successfully completed. Now the team has another success to report: the turbine is running!
SMP (Samvardhana Motherson Peguform) buys land in Schierling: construction of the new plant can begin after the contract is signed. Construction on the 70,000 square meter site begins in September. Gammel Engineering is planning the technical building equipment for the new SMP Plant II. The Mittelbayerische Zeitung reports.
The start-up of the Kombi Power System at the construction company Max Bögl is going according to plan. The company relies on a Kombi Power System biomass cogeneration plant from Gammel Engineering for its energy generation.
The carburetor is filled - the stoker attendants Günter Seitz and Harald Stich make the final preparations for the first ignition together with development manager Klaus Röhrmoser. The big moment is just around the corner..
