We Abensbergers have had a memorial plaque erected at the house where Joseph von Hazzi was born to commemorate the famous son of our hometown.

The scenic city tour is of course always entertaining. Both the historian and the actors bring variety to the presentation and it becomes clear that history can also be exciting and interesting for young people.

In the review, von Hazzi's second wife Josepha Basselet de la Rosèe talks about her experiences with the ambitious and highly successful Hazzi official.

Little Joseph Hazzi's nurse also talks about childhood pranks and the hated school.

And we're off in the direction of the castle garden, but first a look at our wonderfully illuminated Herzogkasten - today the Abensberg museum with registry office.

At the Niklasmarkt there's like every year the famous "Knacker with everything" roasted and prepared by our district administrator Martin Neumeyer.

All in all, another very successful and enjoyable evening with the employees and their relatives - and we also learned something again!
