Through the Gammel Family Social Fund, we aim to provide targeted assistance where support is urgently needed. The fund is made up of the proceeds from our internal Christmas party, where an auction is held among our employees every year. During our regular staff meetings, we then work together to gather suggestions for potential recipients—this way, we decide as a team where the donations will go.
On September 24, 2026, we were pleased to welcome Mr. Wolfgang Bunk, Head of Palliative Care at the Caritas St. Lukas Hospital in Kelheim, to our office. As part of our Gammel Family Social Fund, we presented a donation of 850 euros to the palliative care program.
The palliative care program supports critically ill patients with advanced-stage diseases, as well as their family members and caregivers. Support begins during the patient’s stay at the hospital and can continue even after discharge. The goal is to enable those affected and their families to enjoy the highest possible quality of life and the greatest possible self-determination in their home environment.
The service is free of charge for patients and their families and is partially funded by donations. Our donation will be used to fund the weekend on-call service.
